Out and about exploring the English countryside
For Owen's birthday we went out for the day exploring Hertfordshire. We put away the GPS and just went wherever the wind would take us. It was a lovely trip with so many wonderful sites. Here are a few photos when we were able to stop on the side of the road.
The Ashridge Windmill is one of the oldest surviving windmills in England. It was built in 1627. It is no longer operational.
