Visiting the deer at Richmond Park
Richmond park is a large reserve in the centre of London. In the old day's it was the King's private hunting ground. We set out at the beginning of the day with a mission to spot some deer in the wild. It wasn't long after heading into the wilderness that we spotted our first deer in the bracken. We were fascinated the whole way through and before the day was done had come up close to a large number of them.
The day was bitterly cold by our standards, but worth every minute. Before leaving the area, we popped in to take a quick look at the King Henry Mound.
