A Beautiful Day at Bodium Castle

An amazing real life setting for fairy tales of knights and fair ladies, Bodium Castle had an enchanting beauty.  It is a  well preserved castle built in 1300s by a knight who won the land through marriage and his wealth through the spoils of war with the French.  It's classical design was all the rage for this privileged medieval couple.  Although it had many defenses built in, it was actually never attacked.  We hope our photos help you get a sense of how lovely it was to walk around and admire.
