Visiting the neoclassical Osterley House - Part 2

This first room is completely decorated in custom made tapestry.  The lady of the house ordered it made from a famous French designer, right down to the furniture.  Some of her pets are even in the tapestry.  In the room slightly further on with Greek pictures as wallpaper we found out that every single design was hand drawn and painted.  You could even see the pencil lines where the artist had prepared her work.

In the main entrance hall the plaster work was so detailed.  At each end a design above the fireplaces is a pencil drawing not plaster that is amazing, it looks like a plaster work at first until you look closely and see it is all drawn.
